Boeing 737-400 suffers right main landing gear collapse after landing at Bogota Colombia

Yesterday (22nd of November 2019) a Boeing 737-400 operated by Avior Airlines between Valencia, Venezuela and Bogota, Colombia suffered right main landing gear collapsed after landing at Bogota.

Emergency crew rushed to the scene and foamed the area after a nearby Avianca pilot reported flames from the 737-400. Passengers were bussed to the terminal and some were treated by medical services after a panic arouse on board the aircraft.

A fuel spill was detected and the airport authorities decided to close down the Northerly runway.
